Our facility is the only wall in Ireland with a full sized Olympic speed route. Try out our route for a chance to get on the national leaderboard. Try it on your own or take turns racing each other up the wall.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Bouldering:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Bouldering is one of the quickest and simplest ways to kickstart you\u2019re climbing with minimal equipment and no climbing partner required. Bouldering problems are short and un-roped but no less challenging.<\/p>\n<p>Our modestly sized bouldering area packs a punch with a variety of slab, vert, overhang and cave. We keep a fresh rotation of 40 routes of grades V0 to V11 with new routes added weekly.Our experienced instructors will get you started and you will leave the wall confident to return again and boulder independently. Otherwise, if you are an experienced boulderer, just rock up.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Top-rope Climbing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>Our lead wall includes 39 lines with 74 routes ranging from 4 to 8b. Our professionally set routes include overhangs and technical moves for you to focus your mind as you navigate to the top.<\/p>\n<p>Top-rope climbing is every climbing first introduction to rope work. To learn how to top rope climb yourself, ask one of our instructors about our inductions. Learn how to belay safely over a two hour session with one of our experienced instructors. Session&#8217;s cost \u20ac35 per person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Lead Climbing:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>If you are interested in advancing on to lead climbing, ask at the reception about inductions. These include two two hour sessions to run through all you will need to lead climb for \u20ac80 per person.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Auto-belay:<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>The UL Sport Climbing Wall has a total of 3 auto-belays. Auto-Belay&#8217;s are a safe and efficient way to train on routes without the need for a climbing partner. It\u2019s a great way for beginners to start on more vertical routes and they also give advance climbers the chance to train harder and faster by themselves. Our instructors will ensure you are familiar with how to safely clip on before you climb.<\/p>\n<p>Our auto belays are professionally installed and in line with TRUBLUE Auto-belay CE certification.
