TRANSITION YEAR PROGRAMME
UL Sport Arena can offer a variety of packages for Transition Year Students. These packages can be tailored to suit the requirements of your group. It is a fantastic introduction to a healthy lifestyle in a college environment. All groups can be catered for.
Option One:
A six week programme of fitness education with each week focusing on a different component of fitness: e.g.
- Strength
- Speed and agility
- Flexibility and Balance
- Fitness: aerobic and anaerobic
- Power
- Reactions
- Nutrition
Option Two:
Introduction to a range of different fitness classes over a number of weeks.e.g.
- Circuit Training
- Pilates
- Indoor cycling
- Kettlebells
- Bootcamp
- TRX
Option Three:
Gym and pool access for the group. Gym supervisor can be provided if requested at an extra charge.
Option Four:
A full day in UL Sport Arena trying out a variety of different activities. These can be practical or classroom based or a mixture of the two. The day can be designed in conjunction with you and your students.
